As Curator of Special Projects, Moira Lascelles manages a broad range of UK and international projects for The Architecture Foundation including various off site commissions and competitions. In 2011 Moira was instrumental in establishing South Kilburn Studios, a series of creative studios offering traineeships to local young people. Moira has also worked to deliver the New Windows on Willesden Green project that saw an advent calendar of shop front transformations and the launch of a new eight-unit retail space on Willesden Green High Road and most recently a permanent public realm transformation in London Bridge creating a community garden at Gibbon's Rent.
In 2010 Moira acted as Consultant Curator to the London Festival of Architecture organising extensive programme across the city including devising and producing the Union Street Urban Orchard for The AF. Moira is Editor of The Union Street Urban Orchard publication and Co-Editor of South Kilburn Studios: Notes on an Experiment. She has previously held positions at Rem Koolhaas's Office for Metropolitan Architecture, Phaidon Press and CABE.
