Calum Green is a Community Organiser for the Housing team at London Citizens - part of Citizens UK - organising in the London borough of Newham. He is currently working to provide affordable, community-owned homes through the UK’s first urban Community Land Trust at St Celement’s Hospital, Mile End. Calum was involved in both the participatory design workshops and the team that put together the final tender document. He is also part of Citizens UK’s housing work in relation to the legacy of the Olympic Park and has been part of designing the ‘housing asks’ for the Mayoral Accountability Assembly, looking into a London specific definition of affordability based on income. He grew up in Lambeth, south London and has a BA (hons) in Architecture from the University of Sheffield.
