The Hackney Wick Public Art Programme is the culmination of five years of works and projects based around Hackney Wick by a variety of artists and groups. Curated by Lucy McMenemy and supported by the Hackney Wick SRB Partnership, it aims to document a variety of projects which focused on giving the local community a platform to respond to the ongoing regeneration of the area. One of the most infuential projects documented is the Experimental Playground at Daubeney School, which has since been used by several organisations as an exemplar including by Public Art Online. The publication aims to give these projects a lasting life which have helped to shape a sense of community and a sense of place.
The Hackney Wick Public Art Programme is published by The Learning Trust (2003) and as of March 2010 there are still several copies available.
