Pippa Gueterbock is currently leading the delivery of the Grassroots Interim Uses project at the London Legacy Development Corporation, as well as the Leaway, a new walking and cycling route along the River Lea connecting the Olympic Park to the Thames. She has a background as an urban designer committed to delivering innovative solutions with strong social and environmental credentials.
She has a broad range of experience in the field of the built environment and urban renewal, predominantly architecture, urban design and community engagement. She has provided design, sustainability and participatory experience for a number of major regeneration projects such as the Olympic and Legacy masterplans in the Lower Lea Valley and Kings Cross Central. As an architecture student in 2001, she created the 'Reclaim the Beach' project–a highly successful series of events which set out to reveal London's hidden public space – the Thames beaches - to Londoners.
